No title. The actress Sarah Bernhardt sits on a bench in a garden with an unidentified man. She is wearing white, with a lace shawl framing her face. He wears a suit and a boater hat. He smiles, she looks rather melancholy. She begins to speak (there is no sound). They have a conversation. M/S of the great actress talking to another woman. They are both standing beside the bench. Sarah is pointing out something in the garden. Sarah puts her hand up to wave. Ends.
Note: very short segment – no title or intertitles. Was probably bought in for reuse. Not sure if it found its way into an Eve’s Film Review or Pathe Pictorial.
Nitrate print and safety neg exists.
Julian is attempting to date this film, he thinks it is pre 1920s.
